When?
Finger size varies depending on the time of day and temperature. It is best to measure several times and use the average value as a guide. Ring size can also change over the course of your life.
Where?
Always measure the finger and hand on which you intend to wear the ring. If you have a large knuckle, measure the knuckle and choose one size smaller so that the ring fits securely.
How?
We offer three simple methods you can use to conveniently determine your correct ring size at home.
Measure the finger
For this method, you will need:
- A ring that fits you/the wearer well on the finger where the new ring will be worn and is similar in width to the desired model. The width of a ring also influences the size it will have.
- A piece of paper measuring approx. 8 x 6 cm
- A thin pen
- A precise measuring instrument such as a set square

On an existing ring
A very good method is determining the size using a strip of paper. When performed precisely, this method provides very accurate results. This method is also very suitable if you want to give the ring as a gift and can secretly borrow a sample ring.
For this method, you will need:
- A ring that fits you/the wearer well on the finger where the new ring is to be worn and is similar in width to the desired model. The width of a ring also influences the size it will have.
- A piece of paper approximately 8 x 6 cm in size
- A thin pen
- An exact measuring instrument such as a drafting triangle

Further tips
- Between two sizes: When in doubt, a larger size is often more comfortable for a wider ring. Conversely, for very narrow rings, a smaller size may fit better.
- Consider ring width: Wider rings usually fit more snugly than narrow models. In this case, a slightly larger ring size may be more comfortable.
- Consider temperatures: Fingers become thinner in cold weather and usually slightly thicker in heat. Therefore, do not measure immediately after exposure to extreme heat or cold.
- Account for changes: Finger circumference can change due to the season, weight fluctuations, or other physical changes.
- Consider the knuckle: The ring should slide comfortably over the knuckle but should not be too loose afterwards.
