Environmental protection is a matter close to our hearts. That is why we are implementing more and more projects to increase sustainability.
Gold from certified sources
For BERND WOLF premium-quality gold plating, we use gold from certified sources. It is mined in compliance with environmental protection measures and with respect for human rights. This is mostly placer gold, which is washed from rivers.
Sustainable jewelry boxes
Our new resource-saving jewelry boxes are made of 100% recycled cardboard and FSC-certified wrapping paper. They are produced in Germany, just 45 minutes away from our studio, ensuring a short supply chain for our boxes.
In our sustainable jewelry boxes, several pieces of jewelry can be arranged together into decorative jewelry sets. For online orders, this means fewer and smaller shipping boxes.
Our jewelry boxes are tested for harmful substances that could damage the jewelry. All boxes are also equipped with a special anti-tarnish cloth, making them the perfect storage place for your favorite BERND WOLF pieces.
Our Lifetime Service
Our lifetime service offers our customers the opportunity to restore BERND WOLF jewelry to an almost new condition time and time again. With our lifetime service, our customers can enjoy their favorite pieces of jewelry indefinitely. We are pleased that this sustainable offer is so well received and that we sometimes receive pieces of jewelry that have been worn with joy for more than 30 years!
Electric cars in field service
An electric vehicle fleet for the entire field sales team: For their visits to our dealers across Germany, our representatives have completely switched to the all-electric AUDI Q4 e-tron.
Sustainable electricity
Since 2008, the manufactory has been sourcing all of its electricity from hydropower via its provider. Since 2023, our solar roof has been supplying us with solar power. Now, a new chapter begins with a large 66 kW photovoltaic system.
Beehive in the manufactory garden
In the near-natural garden stands a large beehive, around which many busy little bees are buzzing. Our bees live in what is known as a top-bar hive and build natural honeycomb. This means they build their combs themselves. They are a wonderfully peaceful colony and have collected a lot of honey this year, most of which they are allowed to keep for themselves to get through the winter well.
